Job Summary

A highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst is sought to support HR and compliance initiatives. This role will focus on identifying gaps in compliance and analyzing large datasets to drive operational accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities include analyzing employee data, identifying discrepancies, working with HR and payroll teams, using Excel (including Power Query) for data analysis, developing reports and dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and documenting processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze employee data
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
  • Work with HR and payroll teams
  • Use Excel (including Power Query) to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track setup status and compliance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
  • Document processes and findings for audit and operational transparency

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
